Renewable energy is key to combating climate change, and the majority of Statkraft’s power generation is from renewable sources: hydro, 风能和太阳能.

Statkraft also generates heat and power from biomass and natural gas. Gas-fired power generation substitutes power generation based on coal in Europe, which leads to lower CO2 emissions from the power sector. However, going forward we are only investing in renewables.
